Service
By ordering any Dominion OEM system
from NWC, Inc you will receive the following service(s) as outlined
below. Your placing an order for any Dominion OEM system
constitures your acceptance of these policy's and coverage warrantee.
It is the intent of this document to clearly state the parameters of the Warranty
Service provided in support of the Manufacturer's Computer Systems.
All desktop systems priced at $699.00 or higher are covered by this extensive and
complete warrantee. Systems under $699.00 can be covered by this warrantee for an additional fee of
$89.00
1. All Computer Systems leaving Manufacturer's premises will have the latest
Software Operating System loaded, and will be accompanied by a full set of discs that will allow the user to
reload the system, if for any reason, the Software is lost or corrupted at a later date. The system is
guaranteed as being fully operational at time of shipment.
2. On-site service is defined as being within 50 Miles of closest Technician, as the
Technician being on-site 48 hours from receipt of parts by the Customer, who will contact the Service Company
and notify them of their arrival, and includes parts replacements and the system restored to the Log in
Prompt, during the First Year only.
Out of Warranty Service such as
telephone support, mail-in repair and in-home technical service will be made available at current competitive
market rates.
Years 2 and 3 will be Parts Only, under the component Manufacturers warrantee, and
parts will be returned directly to them, and under their RMA (Returned Materials Authorization), and
subsequent on-site service will be at the aforementioned rates. See Extended Warranty section.
Mail-in Service will be billed at *$75.00 per incident, plus Shipping and
Handling.
** 3. Warranty Service will not include the troubleshooting of Software
Packages, or *Games (which may have introduced a conflict), or the elimination of Viruses, loaded on to the
system by the end user. All software loaded on the system is the responsibility of, and will be supported by,
the Manufacturer of said software. However, Technical Assistance can be made available to the end user by the
Service Company, at an hourly rate. A Technician will not be dispatched for failures of the
Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor, Speakers or Microphones. If any of these items are proven to be defective they will
be replaced automatically upon receipt of a call from the Service Company to the Manufacturer.
So called "Acts of God", e.g. lightning strikes, earthquakes, floods, etc., are
not covered by any warranties.
*Games Should be Plug-n-Play and MUST be "Windows 95/98, ME, Ready" or, At Your Own Risk, they can be "Windows Compatible". DOS Games will definitely cause
problems!
